Not sure how I missed this but luckily caught up on my Sunday NYTimes magazine articles while driving across the country recently:

How the precision targeting of “persuadable” voters that put President Obama over the top in 2012 could revolutionize the advertising industry.

If this article makes your mind spin - it should - in a very good way.  Precision targeting is very real - it may rely on big data but big data is nothing with the data science and creativity to create insight.

Data manipulation, integration and analytics keeps my heart pumping (with a little bit of music thrown in).
